Introduction to Council

The Council is the decision-making body and supervision body of Guangdong Institute of Intelligence Science and Technology (GDIIST) .

 Council Members

There shall be no less than 9 members in the council. The candidate of the council member shall be recommended by one of the initiators and approved by the council meetings.

Functions and Rights of the Council

The Council exercises the following functions and rights:

1. To examine, approve and amend the constitution of GDIIST and elect or replace the members of the council.

2. To review the medium and long-term development strategy and planning of GDIIST, main management systems and the objectives of its legal representative.

3. To appoint and dismiss the president of GDIIST.

4. To appoint and dismiss the members of the Academic Committee or Evaluation Committee.

5. To entrust the Academic Committee and Evaluation Committee to carry out related work.

6. To examine the evaluation report and audit report submitted by the Evaluation Committee and the funds management audit report issued by the third party which is approve by the Zhuhai Science and Technology Innovation Bureau.

7. To deliberate and approve the annual work report, annual financial budget and report of GDIIST.

8. To coordinate the relationship between GDIIST and local government and promote the the construction of GDIIST.

9. To review other major issues of GDIIST, including but not limited to the disposal of large ticket asset and the transformation of the major scientific and technological achievements.
